Andrews Air Conditioning have installed ten ASF 50 Variable Speed Fans at this week’s The Times CEO Summit at the London County Hall. The prime minister set out his three-step plan for ‘rebooting’ Britain at the Summit to over 100 leading chief executives. Organised by The Times this week, it was striking just how much goodwill the new Government enjoys from business, particularly in areas such as taxation and the urgent need to tackle the deficit.

Thursday, March 25th, 2010Andrews Sykes has contributed to the construction of Strata SE1, the new 43 storey residential tower which stands proudly in the heart of Elephant & Castle.
Martyn Day, one of our heater hire experts was challenged with delivering a heater hire solution that provided heating to over 30 floors of the Strata SE1 building in order to maintain a minimum ambient 5oC on each of the floors and maintain a consistent level of humidity and temperature control for their finishing trades.
Our heater hire solution included two super-efficient Aurora IMAC 4000 oil fired heaters and 10 ASF Cooling Fans together with the necessary ducting and pressure hoses. One heater was sited on each side of the building and ducted into the existing ventilation system at ground level. The high-powered centrifugal fans then circulated the warm air into each of the floors from the open dry risers.

The 2009 Open Championship was held at the breathtaking Turnberry course in Scotland this year. The warm weather over the weekend presented the broadcasting companies covering the event with a particular challenge…….how to keep their presenters, guests and vital technical equipment cool and performing properly! This is where Andrews Air Conditioning came to the rescue! With the UK’s largest fleet of air conditioners, we were able to supply a range of cooling solutions to fit discreetly into a broadcast environment. On 9th July, Andrews Air Conditioning delivered 59 units, a combination of our popular Polar Wind and ET21 air conditioners, together with 6 ASF 50 large fans. These were installed into the cabins which had been put in place for the broadcasters and their teams, to cool the expensive equipment, video editing suites and studios.
