Andrews set to host 50th anniversary dinner

As part of our continued effort to mark the company’s 50th anniversary, we will be holding a celebratory dinner event in Wolverhampton – the very location in which Andrews Industrial Equipment was originally established.

The occasion has been scheduled for the 16th of April and is expected to be attended by UK and overseas directors, major customers, suppliers and local press. We are also delighted to confirm that founder John Andrews will be present, as well as former World Championship rally driver Russell Brookes.

We sponsored Mr. Brookes’ car for seventeen years between 1974 and 1991 – a record for the sport at the time – and one of his old vehicles will be on show at the dinner with the “Andrews Heat for Hire” logo still intact!

There will also be a number of our older HVAC units displayed as we take a look back at equipment that was available for hire during the company’s early days.

A special commemorative video featuring a recent interview with John Andrews outlining the business’ rapid growth is set to be played to those in attendance. This short production documents a number of significant milestones in our fifty year history and provides a unique insight into how the firm once operated on a day-to-day basis.

We look forward to the event and welcoming staff, partners and long-term associates for what we anticipate being a thoroughly positive and eye-opening afternoon.
