Andrews Air Conditioning enjoy more Facilities Show success

On 16 June 2015, the Facilities Show once again opened its doors to businesses and visitors from all around the UK, with attendees revelling in the breadth of sector knowledge on display during the three-day exhibition.

Andrews Air Conditioning were among around 300 suppliers present at the ExCel Centre in London following the success of the corresponding event in 2014.

The Show offered us an excellent opportunity to promote a wide range of products and services whilst also enabling members of staff to interact with potential customers and partners. Several units were stationed on our stand, including one of the industry’s most efficient mobile air conditionings – the PAC 22.

As usual, the Polar Breeze and Polar Wind exhaust tube models generated a lot of interest, and these were showcased alongside an ASF50 cooling fan which remained operational for demonstration purposes.

We also received over 150 entries to our tennis-themed competition, which was won by Danny Young – Maintenance Coordinator at one of the world’s leading travel retailers. His prize was two tickets to the men’s final at the Aegon Championships in London, where he saw crowd favourite Andy Murray seal his fourth Queen’s title.

Mr. Young said afterwards: “I was surprised I won but my fiancée and I enjoyed the day. It was a great experience and not many people get to see Andy Murray win something! Thanks Andrews Sykes.”

Those manning our exhibition stall were very pleased with how the trade show went – particularly from a networking perspective – and it is hoped that preliminary discussions will eventually lead to business prospects materialising further down the line. Like last year, the event certainly proved a worthwhile experience and helped us connect with people and companies we may have otherwise failed to make contact with.
